Tapatio Or Chile Habanero?
|
|
My son was telling me about one of the "limp wrists" he heard on the so-called Christian radio station the other day...
Welcome my friends! Thank you for your prayers and support.
“And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.” (I Sam. 18:1).
There are some people we are drawn to, it seems. There are people I know by name, especially singer/songwriters, that I feel close to although I've never met them personally. You wonder if there is a connection somehow in spirit.
Yes, I'm the big liberal when it comes to music. Music is spiritual and sometimes music connects with me, and it may not be a hymn either. I might add, that other than the hymns, I am very hard to please musically. I usually have to write my own. There is not much I like on the music scene today. I cannot connect to it although it may be spiritual, it doesn't seem to reach any depth or it effects the wrong element of man's spirit.
The people I really appreciate, although I never have time to seek them out, and many have passed on, are the fighters for righteousness. I like the scrappers, the gruff voices of soldiers of the revolutionary army of the Lord Jesus Christ. Not the little homosexuals out there today masquerading about as preachers of the Gospel, wielding nothing more than their paraffin swords and “great swelling words of man's wisdom”.
It's the difference between having Tapatio hot sauce and Chile Habanero.
We have some Mexican kids staying here. They said they wanted Tapatio hot sauce so I get them a big bottle of it. I like how they put “hot sauce” on the label of these bottles. You could drink the stuff!
I told them that the Tapatio sauce is for gay Mexican men and for women. Habanero is for real men. The Mexican girl said “I'm alright” when I told her the Habanero sauce would put hair on her chest. I guess I could understand that.
My point is; where are the soldiers?
I was working in an elderly ladies house last week. She said that not even God could fix the problems with this country, it was so bad. I think she's right, but unfortunately well never find out because the church has been neutered. Bring on the Tapatio for the “flowers”.
My son was telling me about one of these “limp wrists” he heard on one of the so-called Christian radio stations the other day. The spiritual pervert was going on about how we shouldn't judge, but we should just preach Jesus. This is what we need in the pulpit today, “feminized creatures” that are replacing the God fearing, fire breathing preachers.
No, the elderly lady was right, but it is only because people don't want God, and the church isn't pointing the way. The problem in this country, as with broken individual lives, is a“spiritual” problem. Those who are supposed to have the cure for the spiritual woes have been neutralized, so all we have is a country adrift, and fast approaching the waterfalls.
Michael Savage, bless his heart, is sincere, I believe in his desire to save this nation, and I sometimes feel that connection with him. That is, until he goes off on his tangent in support of the things that God hates. Then, off he goes and I can't stand to hear his voice for weeks. The principle is simple. You don't go up to the boss, smack him in the face, and then ask for a raise. Go to Vegas? I'd just as soon puke as go to Sodom! Yet Savage promotes this as being what America is all about. No wonder we are on the brink of collapse. Although Savage is a classic example of how the wrong kind of education can puff people up so big, there's no longer room for them in Heaven, I still consider him the best friend of the fundamental Bible believing Christian in secular media today. Somehow he seems to understand the importance of the Bible in our society although his his ramblings take contradictory paths at times.
The apostle Paul said that the ministers in the church were to be “lovers of good men”. Unfortunately there are so many fakes in the ministry today, there is very little to love. I don't listen to “Christian” radio. It's just to hard to keep it down, if you know what I mean. It's like , pass the pistola please! If I wasn't depressed when I tuned in, it's guaranteed I'll be depressed after I do.
“Welcome my beloved to the “Grace To You” program featuring John MacArthur”. Quick, get me my pistol! Then it's the Chuck Swindler program after that, and they all have that same homogenized sound as they tell the deluded Laodacians what they want to hear. I'm not a lover of these fakes.
“Oh, come on preacher, a million followers can't be wrong!” Wanna bet? I'm not the betting type, but you know what I mean.
Some have accused me of not talking like a pastor. Oh course they want you to talk like a neutered homosexual with a limp wrist. Well, I like men who are , well, men. I like those who stand for truth and are not afraid to proclaim the truth, even to their own hurt. The man of God is here to please God, and that does not always mean the cushy way for us.
“Wherefore we labor, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.” (II Cor. 5:9).
You know it when you get the real thing. It's the difference between Micheal Savage and Sean Hannity. One is real, the other is an agenda driven fake and spokesman for the out-of-touch Republican Party, in my opinion. You need the truth, especially when it comes to issues of eternal consequence. Consider the account of Ahab and the lying prophets.
Ahab, the king of Israel gets together with Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, to take Ramoth in Gilead away from Syria. Jehoshaphat told Ahab to “Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the Lord to day.”
Then Ahab called the local Ministerial Association together to get their professional advice.
“Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramoth-Gilead to battle, of shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.” (I Kings 22:6).
“Bless thee brother, Jesus love you everyone! Merry Christmas, Oh bless you my child. Don't worrry about it. We are all children of God. God would never judge you. All sickness is from the devil. God is love. He'll never condemn you to Hell. Things will get better. We are having a revival in this nation. We aren't on the decline. Don't worrry about it. All is well. You are suffering a mental recession, that's all. If you ever feel anything is not niiice, it is just a figment of your imagination. God is love. Peace bro! God's not going to bring judgment. He'd never heat the earth up and fry your little kiester off. He loves all of His children. Get an an easy inexpensive divorce. You can divorce and remarry all you want. Don't love the one you're with? Get a new one, God doesn't care. He won't judge adulterers. Go live it up. God doesn't care if you go to the strip joint and pick up a ho. He doesn't judge whoremongers. Your life will be blessed. You won't get an STD. Don't worrry about it. You're a pervert? Don't worrry about it. You are all God's children. I know a queer that died and came back. He said it was the most peaceful, beautiful place that words could not describe. Live for the day. If it feels good, do it.” We are a shoe in for Heaven. After all, you had some pedophile with a robe on sprinkle water on your head as a baby. Beside, you have plenty of time. You are not losing your country. The Federal Reserve doesn't own us. Nobodies watching what you do. Nobodies tapping your phone or reading your e-mails. The One World Government isn't real. Nobody wants to control you. The scanners in the grocery stores have nothing to do with whether you'll be able to buy and sell one day. Nobody's watching you. Your liberties are safe. We are looking out for you. Just put your bracelet on. It's for your safety. We love you and want you to be safe. If you don't cooperate we will have to say 911. That'll get you.
“And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the Lord besides, that we might enquire of him?” (I Kings 22:7).
It was as if Jehoshaphat was saying, alright Ahab, bring out the real man of God. You don't need the positive message from the average religious leader who wouldn't know the Spirit of God if He hit him in the head. Ahab, this is a life and death thing. You don't want to ask these fakes. These are the guys that play their part. You know they don't actually know the God of the Bible. They are lying ministers of Satan. Their primary mission is to make merchandise of you and then see you in Hell. They work for Satan. Don't ask them. They receive their blood money. Go ask the true man of God. He'll tell you the truth whether it will make you feel good or not, but at least you'll have the truth.
“And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.” (I Kings 22:8).
Yeah, there is this man. He's one of them there fundamentalist types, you know, the Bible thumpers. He has a bitter spirit and goes about judging everyone and everything. I hate his guts! He has his own little cult out in the country. Hardly nobody goes there. I don't know why he just doesn't give up and go away. Doesn't he realize we have at least four hundred preachers in this town who tell us what we want to hear? They are fine upstanding citizens and they all get together for the good of the community. Now that is what I call a religious leader. That's what they are supposed to do. Just keep their big mouths shut and do nice things for people. Yep, thems the kinds I loves. But this Micaiah guy? Well, he's all alone practically. You know that gain is godliness. Pastor Lovable over there has a nice big new building. God is blessing him and his movement. You know, bigger is better. Nevertheless I will step on my pride, because I already know more than Micaiah, and will send for him.
“And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.” (I Kings 22:13).
Come on Micaiah, join the Ecumenical Ministries Of Oregon, and speak with us the message of unity with one voice. If you'd just convert to Catholicism, you'll go places. Things could be so easy if you just sell ou, oh I mean get along for the common good.
“And Micaiah said, As the Lord liveth, what the Lord saith unto me, that will I speak.” (I Kings 22:14).
Many people don't understand a personal relationship with the Lord. They just think you have a religion and if something comes along that makes sense humanly speaking, you can just go along with it. Of course, for a Christian who has been “born again” , it's a real birth and a real relationship. It's not just something you can turn on if if seems “reasonable”. We have really been bought with the blood of Jesus and we really belong to Him. Our allegiance is to Him, and Him only. A true Christian cannot be governed by a creed or some religious organization that is contrary to God's Word. God's Word is the final Authority and the Holy Spirit guides the believer. I think Oswald Chambers called it “spontaneous originality”.
“So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.” (I Kings 22:15).
It was like Micaiah was saying, “I can be like the others if you like.” If you want a cheap religious whore, I'll give you one. It's “tell me what I want to hear baby.” But the king seemed to know better. This is a positive message coming from Micaiah. Hmm, something isn't right here.
“And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD?” (I Kings 22:16).
Much of the Bible is negative unfortunately, especially for the lost person. Get saved or go to Hell. My old boss used to have a plaque on his wall. It said something like, “Incentive Plan”, and then it said “work or get fired”. God says come my way or die in your sins. There is not much of a positive message for the lost and life isn't easy for the Christian. We are here to please God and not to necessarily please ourselves. Sometimes we suffer and it is part of God's plan. God's ways are God's ways and we are to live for Him. This drives the lost man crazy. He'll say things like “you don't get anywhere being honest”, or “you take your religion too seriously”. They just don't understand.
Micaiah, as if to say, here goes, had to bear his cross. He had to be true to God when it wasn't the popular thing to do. He was the fundamentalist. He was God's man and he had to be true to his God.
“And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the Lord said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.” (I Kings 22:17).
Well, we know the story. Micaiah was mocked and put into prison and treated lower than scum for telling the truth. God had sent a lying “spirit” to Ahab's prophets much like the “delusion” God will send the wicked in the end times, so they'll not see the danger, but will follow Antichrist. He will do this, because when God called in love, they refused, and instead had pleasure in unrighteousness.
The king did go to battle and he was killed. No doubt Ahab's pride kept him from listening to the man of God. After all, who is he that I should listen to him. He has no doctorate. He has a realively small congregation. He's not a rich fat cat with a lot of power in this world. Why should I listen to him.
Ahab found out the hard way why he should have listened, as will many who will die in their sins and wake up in Hell.
“And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.
And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into then midst of the chariot.” (I Kings 22:34,35).
Remember, the Lord isn't in the big things and He will not be found where you think He might be found.
“And he said, Go forth and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:
And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.”(I Kings 19:11,12).
Listen for the “still small voice”. CP
