Now that the harvest is in, for the most part, it is nice to slow down a little.
Brrrrr! It's cold! I pulled out all of the garden plants Wednesday in anticipation of the frost. I'm glad I did. It froze pretty good that night. I was able to save a lot of the produce. We have been able to put a lot of produce away this year; more that I can remember in the past. I have animals I have been trying to sell and they won't sell. I hope it is not an indicator of bad things to come. I must say, it feels pretty good to have some extra food put away and to have some meat walking around the field.
We were busy bees this year as I've never experienced in the past. It reminds me of a passage in the book of Proverbs:
“Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.” (Prov. 6:6-8)
Now that the harvest is in, for the most part, it is nice to slow down a little. As the weather cools, we will focus our attention on the work inside. We brought in a few hundred dollars from the yard sale. We can now start repairing the plumbing for the bathroom in the church. It seems there is never enough time to get all the things done you have to get done.
We had an order for the “Please Don't Kill Me Again” cds. Someone wants to offer them at their church. They give them away for awards to their youth. I think that is great idea, and I appreciate that very much. We sent off a case of them. We have more left if anyone can use them. The cover has a great salvation message and the music is good for the young people as well as the more mature. Many of the songs are Psalms put to music.
I just received the “master” copy of my 2nd cd project entitled “Clips In Time” today. I'll be busy getting that ready for distribution for the next week or so if I like the final mix. It is not exactly a hymn project, but many of the songs were written and inspired by real life situations that I have experienced. They are all real songs about real life. No stupid, mindless, noise here. This music deals with some of the deep issues of life that many, if not all are either going through now, or will go through one day. Some of the songs strike so deeply, I had to re-do the vocals, if you know what I mean. I just couldn't make it all the way through. If you want music from deep inside of the soul, be looking for this project on my website, as well as all over the Internet. I will warn you now, this project is rated “E” for emotional. This is some extremely emotional stuff, so be warned.
Maybe it's time we start looking at real things. For so long we have been sidetracked, misled, diverted, distracted, and bombarded with vanity and fluff, it is past time for us wake up to reality. We have been living a lie. It is high time to wake from our fairytale lives and smell the coffee, so to speak. The party is over and we are in a moral meltdown as well as a financial meltdown. There is already talk of an international bank and a world currency. I smell something sinister coming out of this so-called “bailout” fiasco. My guess would be another step toward establishing the world government by establishing a world monetary system. Both McCain and Obama are in the pocket of these conspirators, by the way. We have two useless people to vote for. I warned you about this when we had a choice. The media corralled the dummies to get us to exactly where we are at, in my opinion. Nothing happens by accident in politics.
The moral meltdown is no accident in my opinion. The powers that be in Helliwood pump out this trash on purpose to destroy the morals of the nation. There is no other reason for it. An immoral nation is easily controlled.
My wife gets these movies through Netflix, and I was watching one last night. It sounded really good and the story itself was great. I wasn't able to finish it though, because there was an agenda. The agenda was to promote the loose lifestyle of fornication and adultery. Of course the white male was an abusive maniac as he is portrayed in many of these movies. The women's primary objective is to see who they could sleep with. Marriage wasn't even mentioned one time.
This is how we have arrived at this moral crisis. We are at a point now, that when you even talk of some of the virtues that were the norm in days gone by, you get heckled and laughed at. Some that are laughing are the “little children” of this generation. It reminds me of the “she bear” account in II Kings.
“And he went up from thence unto Beth-el: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.
And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.
And he went from thence to mount Carmel, and from thence he returned to Samaria.” (II Kings 2:23-25).
These little monsters were no doubt brought up thinking that anyone who was “religious” was some kind of nut case. They were probably being taught that they came from a monkey or some “primordial soup”, or we are the result of the “big bang”. Well, I know this was a little before Darwin's time, but these kids were obviously taught to have little or no respect for God's people, just as they are being taught today.
Well, the man of God said enough of this, and he cursed them. This is something I do from time to time. I ask God to avenge me of my adversaries. For finance companies, for instance, I pray that God will take one million dollars for every dollar that these heartless thieves steal from me through excessive usury and fees. We do not do things personally. We ask God to do them and He does.
In this instance, God called some of His wild animals and sent them in for the kill. God has many tools at His disposal and there is no escape when He is after you. The bears went at God's call and started tearing these monsters up. These wretched brats got what they deserved. Something we can learn from this is that children can be children of Belial.
So guys and gals, if you have some business that needs taken care of, we do have power with God. Don't get your hands dirty on that filthy slut of a wife or that fat pig of a husband who decide they want to go and have fun, leaving you high and dry with no spouse. If you are the man, she'll want to take your kids on top of that, and a filthy dike with a robe on will grant it so. All you can do is give it to God. If there are no she bears running around the big city, there are plenty of semi-trucks and cars. God is a just God, and marriage vows are sacred.
“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Saying, there was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, though I fear not God, nor regard man;
Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:1-8
It was like this truth or fiction movie that my wife rented the other day. This women comes home and finds her husband (El Swino) in bed with another women (El Sluto). She does the stupid thing and pulls a gun out. He struggles with her over the gun and the gun goes off killing the wife. Somehow he gets off the hook claiming self defense or something.
One day he's mowing grass and someone who is out to avenge the dead wife takes a pot shot at the “swine” as he is mowing grass. She misses and hits a tree. He never knows what happened because of the noise of the lawn mower.
Then some time later the husband decides he needs to cut the tree down, which happened to be the same tree that took the bullet. As he was cutting the tree down the chain on the chain saw caught the bullet and shot it into the husband's heart and killed him.
He got exactly what he deserved and God made sure justice was served. Yes, that is exactly what should happen. He should be shot. The judicial system is too morally bankrupt to deal with it and mete out justice to fit the crime, but don't jeopardize your life or future over it. The scum is not worth it. Besides, God can do the avenging and you won't have to ruin your life over it.
Someone told me that some things are out of our control. That is true, but your response is in your control, so take control by giving it to God.
There was a time when the judicial system took care of such matters. Today the system is so messed up, not by accident in my opinion, and so removed from biblical justice. Forget justice in our corrupt judicial system. You'd have a better chance at justice if you took your case to the local gang on the street. You have to take your case to God if you want true pain free justice.
There was some “character” around back in grandma's day. Slowly but surely these godly characteristics have been “educated” out of us. Liberalism keeps pushing to open up more doors that at one time no one considered opening. Now anything goes, except Bible doctrine. All of a sudden the liar is the hero and you are the villain if you tell the truth. What does the Bible say:
“But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:” (Tit. 2:1).
Even the Baptist churches are shying away from straight preaching. I guess they are actually worried about what the world thinks of them. With our society in moral free fall, we need you to stand strong, unwavering, and unapologetic on sound doctrine. Forget the numbers game. Don't you get sick of dealing with a bunch of unregenerates anyway?
“That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accuser, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children. To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.” (Tit. 2:2-5).
We have to teach these principles in our churches even though the world rejects them. There was a time in our nation when enough of this godly teaching filled our churches that it influenced a whole nation. That has changed. Now the churches,are largely influenced and infiltrated by modernists, socialists, new evangelicals, compromisers, Marxists, infidels, and other “creatures”.
What about the young people entering into marriage who had never been taught, by word or example, how to be husbands, wives,or mothers and fathers? Where do they start? By looking at the Bible? That's a laugh. The Bible has been totally discredited. (You have to order a King James Bible if you want to get one from our local book store!) They go to Hollywood, reality television, Sex and the City, Desperate Housewives, etc. They base decisions on emotion and selfishness and not on the sound principles of the Bible. In other words, many of our young people lack the characteristics they need, and we are doomed as a society. The churches have pitched sound doctrine out the window, and that is exactly what has happened. Around and around it goes, and Jesus is the only hope.
Those selfless things grandma used to do,and that character she exhibited, as a result of the influential church are no longer there. We just think back with great admiration on women of exemplary character that resembled the “virtuous woman” of Proverbs 31. To a great extent, they are gone. I happen to be married to one of the last ones it seems.
Grandma was supposed to be teaching the younger women how to succeed in marriage and now she is shacking up with someone, or gambling away her social security check at Jack Pot. None of this is addressed at the liberal church she goes to, if she goes to church at all.
Girls do not know loyalty, or what it means to stay at home and sacrifice and work to build a home. Many of them foolishly tear their home down and destroy it because they have no character. When it is not fun anymore they fly the coop.
“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth to Lord, she shall be praised.” (Prov. 31:30). CP
